Students interested in pursuing the GLOBED master’s degree along the 2023 to 2025 academic years can already submit their application through the UAB platform. If this is the first time that you apply for graduate or ungraduated studies at this University, you will have to create an account first (NIU). For those who already have one, you can start the application here, selecting Master in Education Policies for Global Development.
What has changed?
The Edition 8 (2023/2025) will be the first one outside the Erasmus+ framework and, therefore, all the seats will be offered on self-funding basis. This means that prospective applicants will need to find alternative sources of funding, beyond the Erasmus Mundus scholarships. In case it may help, we have added other scholarships in our website. However, we highly encourage future applicants to do a deep research, especially in their origin countries, for grants, scholarships and students’ loans.
Apart from the financial aspects, another difference is that, in the current call, we will only ask to write an essay to those students who had been shortlisted, and who will find out the topic of the essay via email, on due time.
Therefore, a successful application will include:
– Bachelor’s Degree diploma, in case you have finished studies already;
– Final or most recent transcript of records;
– Europass CV;
– Motivation Letter (1 page);
– Official English test results that confirm a C1 level, and which can be sent on a second stage;
– Recommender details: a document including the name and contact details of two faculty members or job supervisors, who will be contacted in case of having been shortlisted.
Please note that, at the time of sending the application, students will have to pay a pre-enrolment fee (30,27 €).
The call for applications will be open from until Monday 10th of April at 23:59 (CEST). Take a look at the whole calendar below. You can find out more at the Admission requirements, How to apply and FAQs sections, or contact info@globed.eu.
