Sadia Afrose

From Bangladesh

Sadia Afrose carried out a Bachelor in Anthropology at the University of Chittagong. She is deeply passionate about gender equity and inclusive education, with experience working on projects that address gender-based violence, reproductive health, and education in underserved communities. Her bachelor’s thesis, “Forced Pregnancy: Desire, Rights, and Reproductive Health,” explored the complexities of reproductive rights and the psychosocial impact of forced pregnancies, which continues to inspire her work today. She has worked with organizations like ActionAid Bangladesh and BRAC, where she delivered training, supported policy reforms, and advocated for equitable access to services.
